Windows Installation Error on Setting Up Software

An irritating error message appears every time I try to install software on my computer system. It is not merely happening with one application but with all. I have tried to install Adobe 9, Google Earth, etc. etc., but at the end of the installation process, an error message occurred which says,

Error:

This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it. or
contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.

Windows Installation Error on Setting Up Software

When installing the software’s on your PC and you get the error message like this, it must be some problem with the window installer. This error problem can be the result of NTFS file error, faulty downloading of added installation components or error in the current edition of the windows installer, however your question clearly suggest that you are having problem with windows installer. To fix the problem do the following step.

1^st Step:  download the updates or latest version of the Windows Installer

2^nd Step:  along with the window installer get the updates for the windows as well, make sure you get the completely up to date Operating System.

3^rd Step:  download the registry cleaner program and run this program to scan the whole system and repair/ clean the errors in the system registry.
