Hi Experts,

Here is a problem for you to challenge: When I open my Pc it opens with a error message attached. But it does not create any obligation at the time of using it or using any other software.

Why it the message comes and what is the problem?

Hi there,

Most of windows XP users face this type of problem. You need to troubleshoot for general windows XP startup problem. Here is some tips that could be helpful to you.

1. Try to use a updated antivirus software for complete scan of your computer. Seems the error appearing for some program that wont startup perfectly. So may be cleanup viruses will affect here.

2. Try to understand which program is not running perfectly or which programs are in your startup queue. Then try to figure out that which program is not running from your startup queue. Then uninstall that program. If it is not possible then remove that program from startup queue.

Here what you need to do:

Just uncheck the program and click on apply then restart.

Have you installed security update 873333 (MS05-012)? if so this may likely cause your problem. To fix this problem here are some options:
Solution
I . Microsoft Hotfix you may download this from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/894391/you-receive-a-generic-host-process-error-message-after-you-start-the-c
II. To manually install windows update. (for genuine Windows and not pirated versions).
1. Go to the start menu.
2. Right click “My computer”.
3. Click “properties” then the “automatic updates” tab.
4. Choose “turn off automatic updates”.
5. Restart your computer.
6. Go back to start menu and in all programs go to “windows update” you have to be connected to the internet.
7. Manually update windows.
8. Turn your automatic updates back on.
III.
1. Go to the start menu.
2. Click Run and type cmd.
3. Type in netsh then press enter.
4. Type in winsock press enter.
5. Type reset.
6. Exit the cmd.
7. Restart the computer.
