Is windows defender not enough protection for PC?

Hello everybody,                  

I am using Windows 7 operating system but I have no antivirus without windows defender.

Is this enough for virus protection?

Can anybody suggest me please?

Windows Defender is a quick, competitive low system resource sharing free product form Microsoft which is well settled with the Microsoft OS. This is a combination of a firewall and antivirus software to keep windows PC safe from Adware, Spyware and other harming software developed worldwide.

So this is nice choice as Antivirus software which additionally creates a log file and gives you wide ranged information about the software’s that keeping your PC busy.

Dear Toby,

 

It is a good thing that you somehow had a protection on your computer. Based on my personal experience Windows Defender is really not enough to shield you from today's threats.

 

Microsoft has released Windows Security Essentials which comes for free. Windows Defender and Security Essentials can work hand in hand to protect your computer from malware or viruses.
