Hi guys,

I want to know what is the problem with my graphics card it suddenly crashed. I did not even know before that graphic card will even stop working or will get in bad condition. I came to know about this problem while working in Photoshop it showed grey screen prompting "Error in graphic card". Please help me solve this.

Graphics card is one of the most important parts of a PC though it’s not a must to make a PC at least run. If you’ve made a heavy usage of your graphics card, it might become bad. Also, driver corruption will also give the same issue.

The first try is to troubleshoot your graphics driver. Uninstall the current display driver and download the latest one from the manufacturer’s website. Here are some of the most popular graphics card manufacturer’s website where you can get the right driver for your graphics card.

• ATI Radeon
• nVidia
• Intel

Also, try to unplug all parts of your CPU and then re-plug them in place again. In many case, this works.

If you really have any problem with your graphics card, you have to buy a new one or check for warranty whether it’s still available to be repaired. If not, buy a new one. If you intend to have better gaming performance, ATI Radeon is recommended. If you intent to work for graphical works, you should choose nVidia.
