Hello guys,

I was trying to do some tests on my PC with Avira12.script with my win7PE_Se build.

I have set the Avira to real-time protection, and I realized that a software was not started and my computer.

I second later, I received the error message.

Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

OK

I opened Avira Control Center, and I saw this image displayed below.

.

Why I was not prompted before Avira take that action?

Is that something made by default to take such actions?

I want to know whether it is supposed to do that.

Thank you.

Avira took that action because currently it's set to automatic. You can change these settings by opening your Avira then go to Configuration, then Realtime Protection, Scan, and then Action on Detection.

Change it from Automatic to Interactive so that when an unwanted program or virus is detected a notification will appear and you will have the option to either delete or access the detected possible threat through the Details button.
