Why I’m unable to copy data from iTunes?help

Hey Everyone,

I have got this new update to iTunes and since that update I'm experiencing some problems with iTunes. Firstly I'm unable to copy data from it. I have Iphone 4S and the iTunes version is 11.0.4.4. Anybody with the same problem or who knows what is the reason that I'm unable to copy data from iTunes please help me.

Hello,

It’s too hard to answer your question as you didn’t mention which OS you’re running. There are different techniques on both Windows and Mac OS X to solve this issue.

If you’re on Mac,

1. Start Terminal from Applications >> Utilities.

2. Run the following command:
cp <source_file> <target_directory>

The “source file” identifies the file that you’re trying to copy from iTunes. The “target directory” is the place where the copied items would be saved. For more detailed information on using this “cp” command, you may visit this page.

There’s some bugs inside some versions of Finder that generates this trouble.

If you’re on Windows,

1. Download and install Unlocker.

2. Right-click on the file you’re trying to copy, select “Unlocker”.

If the program finds any application denying the access to the file, it’ll ask to kill it. Kill the processes and then copy the files easily.

Also, it’s suggested to install the latest version of iTunes. Download iTunes.
