Why are those weird HDMI cabels too expensive?

Alright, the condition is I have bought a new Blu Ray Player from Best Buy and everything is ready but, grasp! I have not a HDMI cable to connect it to my 32 inched LED television. I rush to get one from best buy and I get shocked to hear that unbelievable $40 for a HDMI cable! Anyway I have to grease my money through my hands because it is a must. Now I want to know why are the HDMI cables so expensive? Is it because the costumers must buy or what. Please reply

I am sorry to hear that you have to buy $40 HDMI cable. I don’t know what to say just to make you feel better. Always remember that “Best Buy” offers wide range of HDMI cords. I am sure with this amount it is good and one of their best HDMI cord. The expensive you get the better output you receive.

It is not because it is needed. Because it is the best. I am not working for best buy. In my opinion why will I offer you a cheap and non-dependable or less-efficient cable?

HDMI cables are well-known to have its good performance, especially if the cords are coated with gold. Like RocketFish HDMI cable. I hope that is the cord that they gave you. You can check the specifications in the box that came with-it to find out why it is so expensive. Keep the warranty paper for this also. So if there’s any defects you can ask for replacement without additional charges.
