Why Am I Getting Comctl32 Dll Missing Errors

For some reason, I have no clue about, whenever I launch some program the error saying comctl32 dll missing comes up randomly. This does not happen with some particular programs. It comes up anytime it likes. This has become increasingly irritating. How do I remove this error?

Why Am I Getting Comctl32 Dll Missing Errors

The file comctl32.dll is a part of the Common Control Library of Windows, particularly Common Control Versions. Errors related to this file usually occur due to an incomplete installation of some program, a missing or corrupt file, and in the worst case when your computer is infected with a virus.

To be on the safer side, run a complete system scan to make sure that you are not infected. The next step would be to find this file on the internet and download it. Place it in the Systems folder of your computer. Restart the computer and this error should be gone for good.
