I think you are using the older version of the program. I’m not sure if this is the latest version but I was able to find WhoisThisDomain v1.87 which can be downloaded from NirSoft | WhoisThisDomain v1.87. The WhoisThisDomain utility allows you to easily get information about a registered domain.

It is a domain registration lookup utility program that automatically connects to the right WHOIS server according to the top-level domain name, and retrieves the WHOIS record of the domain. This supports both generic and country code domains. This version works on any versions of Microsoft Windows from Windows 2000 up to Windows 8. To use the program, you need to allow outgoing connections to port 43.
