I am trying to use it for business apps and web browsing on the big screen. I would like to know which is better Miracast or Chromecast. I need the current users to throw some light on this query to take a decision. Any help would be appreciated. Please help.

Which is better for business apps and web browsing, Miracast or Chromecast?

According to Time Magazine, Chromecast is “the most innovative gadget in 2013”. This device is the most inexpensive HDMI dongle that changes the way users use up contents like music and online video. Most users use multiple screens like with Smartphones [usually 3.5 to 7 inches], tablets [usually 7 to 12.2 inches], laptops [10 to 17 inches], PC [19 to 34 inches], and of course TV [34 to 80 inches].

Different screen size means different experiences and several contents especially full-length movies are preferred to be watched on TV screen. Miracast is a peer-to-peer wireless screencasting standard which utilizes Wi-Fi Direct connections. The Miracast standard allows wireless distribution of audio and video to and from any devices that supports Wi-Fi Direct.

An HDMI or a USB Miracast dongle can be used in case the receiving device doesn’t support Miracast for the receiver to function with the sending devices.
