There are several jquery sliders available for footer. The best software the i found was jquery menu slider 09. You get Jquery menu slider 09 from here http://soft.udm4.com/Web-Authoring/jQuery_Menu_Slide_Style_09.html . It is very good in terms of productivity and you will also get free of cost, yes it is a free software.
