Hi, just want to ask for any reputable site offering free winamp downloads for Ubuntu.
I have windows media player but I want as well winamp for Ubuntu.

Actually, Winamp is for Windows only. If you still want to install Winamp on Ubuntu, you have to do some additional tasks.
1. You'll need to install the Ubuntu restricted extras package.
2. You’ll need to install Wine onto your Ubuntu system. (Visit the link below for more information)
3. Now, you can download the Winamp installerÂ
4. Mark the installer so that Wine runs it. Use this terminal command [ ]

Hello Alfred there is no version of winamp for Linux
but there are some ways that make you able to use it
First: if you are familiar with wine program , it is an open source program enables you to run normal windows apps over Linux operating system
it doesn’t work with all programs but I think it works great with winamp
