Where to download free version of AVG Anti virus

I have two computers for my children, one of them ins Windows and the other one is Windows XP both run with free AVG.

So far, they are both good, respectively, no problem.

Then, I just bought a new one for my own but it is on Windows Vista.

Because I know AVG is safe I also download the free AVG in my Windows Vista but suddenly I cant open it and can't save it.

Is it not functioning at Vista?

DO you gave me any source to get the free download..

or what do I really need to do with it.

Where to download free version of AVG Anti virus

The issue that you have with AVG can be because of the software, so I want to share with you the websites where I’m downloading software including the AVG virus protection that you’re using.

1. Look for the icon of internet explorer on the desktop and then Open Internet Explorer

2. On the address bar or the http bar at the top and then type in: https://filehippo.com/

3. Hit Enter on your keyboard

4. The screen will load up and the search for Skype on the search bar at the top

5. You will see this application AVG Free Edition

6. Check first if your computer is running 32 bit or 64 bit and in order for you to check, here are the steps;

a. Click on the Start button at the lower left corner of the screen

b. Look for the word Computer and then right-click it

c. Select or click properties

d. A screen will load up, you will see the information of your computer including the one that we’re looking for

e. Check if you have 32 bit or 64 bit Operating System

7. Click Download just under the AVG Free edition

8. Click Download Latest Version located at the upper right side of the screen

9. The installation will start, let’s just follow all the steps on the screen until it’s finished

10. Open the AVG Free edition then check if everything is working fine now

Check first all the features and the functions of the AVG virus protection on the computer and if all are ok now so that means that the issue is the software that you’re installing, it’s not compatible with the windows operating system that you’re using.

Hi you want to install the AVG antivirus on your PC. It’s a good antivirus.

An other antivirus named Mcafee is also a best antivirus for working on an internet.

It provides you security on the internet. It is heavy but best for work on the PC.

I will give you the link of your favorite antivirus AVG.

Hi good day,

I have another suggestion instead of AVG anti-virus you used, Please try NOD32 anti-virus.

And select NOD32 anti-virus with 64bit because that is compatible to Windows Vista. 

just visit  this site to download.

1. Site you download the username and password:   

2. Site where you download the NOD32 64 bit software.
