Hi Darlene,

You can download Picasa for free at this link http://picasa.google.com/ for Windows XP. Once the download is following the instruction given below:

Step 1: Double click the “. Exe” file to start the installation. You need to accept the terms of an agreement to be able to continue the installation just select the "I Agree".

Step 2: Setup will appear then select the location where you want to save this application then hit next.

Step 3: Hit finish once the installation is done.

Step 4: Picasa will now launch and will ask for the specific location for what folder you want to scan.

Step 5: You will be asked if you want to do this as a default photo viewer. It's your choice if you want to do this as default or not.

You don’t have to worry if your computer is not compatible with Picasa because your operating system is supported. The latest version is Picasa 3.9 and it works on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. You can use it to share your photos directly to Google+ and it also features a richer collection of tools to edit your pictures.

Just like in Facebook where you can tag anyone in the image, you can also do it in Picasa. If you have joined Google+, name tags are becoming popular. You can also apply different effects on your photo like the newly added Duo-tone, Vignette, Borders, and more. It features 24 new editing effects. See image.

To download, visit Download Picasa. For more information watch “How to download and install Picasa | video by TechyV”.
