Where are MSN chat files stored during the chat session?

Hi all!

I am using MSN chat and I have realized that the message section does not contain the chat details as it progresses. This only happens as soon as the chat it ended. Where are MSN chat temp files stored during the time when the chat is still in progress. Thanks in advance.

Where are MSN chat files stored during the chat session?

Greetings Matthew!

To save chat logs and chat history, make sure you set ' Save History' in your MSN. That option can be located at the Tools -> Options -> Messages. After that is set, your chat will now be saved. It will be saved in the My Documents -> My Received Files. You will find all your chat logs made after you have set Save History in your messenger.
