My problem is that my dock is gone. The whole screen turns black and when I click a key on my keyboard nothing will happen.

What kind of problem is this? I thought Mac OS is the carrier of all viruses. Is this a virus or something?

Hi friend,

I don’t think this is a virus problem. It may be a hardware problem or an operating system problem. So I have two solutions for you.

  • If it is hardware problem then open all power cables and do not run the computer for two days. Then open CMOS and RAM. Then setup them up again and connect the power cables. Now turn on your PC and go to BIOS. Set HDD as first boot device and restart.
  • Other option is to repair you’re OS. May be you have not shut down your computer properly for more than one time. So use bootable CD of OS and repair.

Macintosh computers have no open source code. No virus can break into this operating system. Mac has made this way. In fact Mac computers can't be infected by virus.

However, if your Mac computer is getting a black screen, or it turns black, then I may say it's a hardware failure.

Try to check the power cord first, if it's plugged in to a power source/adapter. This may be the simple cause and can be fixed by simple solutions. Try a different power adapters and see if it'll turn the computer on.

If not, then we can say that it's a hardware failure. Bring this computer with you to any Mac store that repairs computer. They'll need to check further details on what is really  the cause for this nightmare.
