What was this free message board software? What is it purpose and how relevant it is. Just want to know all the information to clarify things out. I don’t want questions keep hanging on my mind.

What was this free message board software?

Hi,

A message board is just a forum where you can discuss anything with other users. Many users can connect to the forum and post queries or solutions and discuss. The posts can be related to information technology or science or anything. It is upon the administrator to limit the field of the forum. There are separate forums for each category like technology forums, language forums, science forums, etc.

The software used to maintain these message boards is called message board software. It is the back end of the forum and is maintained by the administrator. It forms a platform for the forum. There are many message board softwares today. Some of them are:

1. Acme News

2. Any Board

3. ASP Message Board

4. bbBoard.
