A freeware software is a software that is free. One can download it from the internet without paying for it. This applies to any software. Sometimes, freeware software is trial software. The manufacturers want to see how the public responds to it. They could start charging for it later on. Some give a number of days for trials before charging one for it. But some freewares are free indefinitely.

Freewares are software that is free to be downloaded from the net. This applies to any software.
