What should be my Internet connection set to in PC?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to setup a new connection in my Windows  PC and have a doubt but don't have anybody to clear it and answer me so please help me on this. As I'm creating a new Internet connection in my Pc what should be the connection set to Public or Private? Please let me know this.

Hi john, I heard the same problem from many people. If your using a broadband wired connection than you can set it as public. But if you are using wireless router it should be set to private or password protected. By using this your internet won't be used by the outsiders.
