I want to explain my students – What is UTC time and MDT time and how to calculate UTC time and MDT now in India? Looking for further details.

UTC- Coordinated Universal Time is the primary standard time by which the world time is set.
- To calculate UTC time in India
- UTC time is 5 hrs and 30 mins behind of India Standard Time (IST).
- If the time in India is 3.30 PM now, then it UTC it will be 10.00 AM.
MST- Mountain Standard Time followed in places – Canada, United Stated and Mexico.
MST subtracts7 hours from UTC time during Standard Time
MDT is the Mountain Daylight Time used to subtract 6 hours from the MST during April to late October.
- To calculate MDT time in India.
- MDT time is 11 hours and 30 minutes behind of India Standard Time (IST).
- If the time in India is 12 PM now, then it MDT it will be 11.30 am.
