What Is Hyperion Lcm Utility Used For

The Hyperion lcm utility in the circle is considered to be a Hyperion administrator’s best friend. The reason behind this is that this utility is extremely helpful to the administrations. It is also called the lifeline of Hyperion products. LCM stands for lifecycle management.
This utility is used for creating backups, migration, and so on.

It is mainly used to automate the backups. First, you need to make a manual export of all artifacts. Then copy the export.xml file to the Export folder. Now open the cmd terminal and run the utility. Similarly, this utility can be used for the purpose of migrating the data as well. Therefore, a lifesaver for Hyperion administrators.
