What is installer atk package all about?

I need a professional advice on the ATK Installer Package. Is it possible to remove it from my system without causing any harm and change it with a different package? What are the minimum system requirements for this software? Is it possible to install it on Windows XP PC? And what are the basic features of this software?

Hi,

ATK (Atomistix Toolkit) package is a pre-installed software program with a set of utilities that will allow the functions of your Fn button on your keyboard. It is normally pre-installed with most new ASUS laptops because it is developed by ASUS.

Many users suggest that it is just a bloatware (optional software and can be safely removed) but I suggest that just update it and not fully remove it from the system because it may still affect your whole system specially the Fn keys. The best way is to make sure that the driver your downloading is the latest available.

You can download this software in your windows XP but I recommend you to set a system store point before installing this or any device driver. This will help you later when you installed a wrong driver.
