What is do follow in building backlinks

I know backlinks can drive you a lot of traffic. I admit that I'm new with this game and I've encountered another terminology like do follow backlinks from other fellow bloggers. I can't relate on this. Can someone explain what is do follow?

What is do follow in building backlinks

I am going to start with a statement about 'do follow' as… 'do follow' is nothing but, just not using the 'no follow'.

Here the question is, what is 'no follow'? Basically the term 'no follow' refers to a tag which simply reports the search engine for not to notice or, present a link on a page. That means, through using the command 'no follow' you can avoid the low or no rank links on your page, provided by the search engine.

Finally, to summarize, 'do follow' means not to use the 'no follow' tag.
