What are the software and hardwares needed to record TV channels. I have a Laptop and wanted to have some of my favorite channels recorded as needed?

What will I need to achieve this?

Hi,

I will recommend TV tuner card rather than HDMI cable. You can also go for software such as Blaze video TV recorder. Both of these are going to solve your computer. The easiest method right now is the TV tuner card. However, you can use the Blaze video TV recorder as well. It will first save the program in TV format and then afterwards you can convert it into any format that you require to share with friends.
