How a web camera does operate on the internet for video calls, live video streaming, etc.? What are the components in a webcam? Does a web camera on a phone operates and work as same one on the laptop? What are the possible impediments or hindrance likely to hit the progressive functioning of the device?

What are the operational functions of a web camera?

Hi,

You can operate your web camera on the internet for the video calling by using the software “Skype”. Go to the “Google” and search for the “Skype”. Firstly, download it and then install it. After that, run the application and make your new id for the “Skype” and enjoy the experience in video calling.  The components in the webcam are CMOS, Sensor, Lens and H264.

Yes, you can use the “Skype” software on the mobile phone, but the software must be compatible for the mobile device. The software will be working as same as it is operated in the laptop.
