What all are the security measurements incorporated in an Azure platform

With the influx of  IT industry shift  Microsoft is having through cloud computing in Azure, security measures were given of prime importance, hence several security management were already named encompassing account ownership, certificate management and employee transitions. Each of these work hand in hand with the user's help in ensuring security safety.

They had also incorporated a firewall – SQL Azure Firewall. This protects any unwanted access to a users' files and database. This somewhat acts like a "sonicwall." The user can customize as to what IP addresses are allowed to access the database and only IP addresses on that lists are allowed by the firewall to gain any access. Although the users can create this changes it can only be done using a principal log in at the master database. Take note that prior any firewall changes, initially all connections attempts are blocked until granted access.
