I am trying to insert a picture object into the report results in the web server error while using Report Studio in IBM Rational Common Reporting. What should I do now? Any idea

Hi there Darrell M Son,

This problem can cause because of two reasons

1.   The image you are trying to insert is not in GIF or JPEG format

2.   Browser button performances a bit uncertain

You can solve this problem by following these steps

1st Go to the Rational Common Reporting Install Path (AppServerprofilesRationalInsightinstalledAppssus-or1lin01Node01CellIBM Cognos 8.earp2pd.warimages)

2nd Copy the image into image folder

Note – Some time the image folder won’t be there if so you need to create it

3rd Drag the image from the toolbox into the article

4th Access the image using this link http://server:9080/insight/images/Name of photo.jpg

Note – URL is case sensitive

If you follow these steps the problem can be solved
