Web Graphics for beginner designers

I am Graphics Designer and working with print media. I know Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. But I could not create web graphics using same features of those software. Would you please help to build up myself as a Web graphics designer? I need a PDF book of web design and developing. Please. Help to find the legal links for suggestions….
