Web camera HP HD 3310 doesn’t work on PC

Please help me to solve this issue. I bought web camera HP HD 3310 and after installation of all drivers and everything it won't work nowhere. Skype is telling me that the camera is being used by another program. Camera's microphone is working, but there is no video. Also when I did all the same in my laptop camera worked perfectly.

Web camera HP HD 3310 doesn’t work on PC

Hello Debra Carter,    your camera should be worked if you properly installed it in your device. Please make ensure that camera is not working with any other apps. Sometime after installing the web cam, it give access to a specific application. Then it does not work with any other app if it is not force shut down.

Hello, Debra!

Other solution for you is to try to plug the cable in the different USB hub. Sometimes it worked for me. Simple as that, I don't know why it is not seeing it on all USB places on laptop, but it might recognize your camera on another USB hub,
