I didn't think about blocking the calls & texts. But If you haven't already figured it out, do the following: In the Profiles you can go to Advanced and make an Exception for that certain person. Click the menu button, New Exception, assign it a name. In "From" add the person's name from your address book then customize the profiles/ringtones to None. This doesn't block the person from contacting you & it may clog your incoming text messages. box, but at least you don't have to listen to the constant ringing & tones, especially with text messages. coming in. do this & it works great. It's silent for any sort of contact from that person. I thought the exception would only work with incoming calls.

Blackberry phone offers this feature under text message settings that enable someone to block messages that are sent by persons who are not listed in their contacts / phone book. Check the box that says “Except messages from” then choose contacts, this method blocks all messages that are sent by people who are not in your contact book, however, depending on the model you are using, some models offer you the chance to choose specific contacts to block which is an advantage because you don’t have to lock everyone whom you have not listed in your contacts out.
