Watching movies from hard drive to television

Me and my friends love watching movies. We always watched movies on my computer. But, when our hard disk ran out of space I considered buying a new hard drive, just to store all my movies and maybe if possible watch them on my television. The only concern is, would purchasing an external hard drive enable me to watch the movies I store on TV?

You can not save movies to TV because TVs don't have enough memory to save movies. For movies we have to have a large memory location and TV only has a little amount of memory buffer which it uses to receive signals and display on the screen and clear the buffer for other data to come and be stored.

That's why if you want to store memory, you need to have a memory like hard disk or USB flash. If your hard disk is full, then you have to buy a new hard disk and store memory on that and keep on enjoying, watching movies.

Thanks.

Which movie are we watching my friend?

It’s possible to watch movies on television using an external hard disk drive.

The requirements are:

  • You must have a DVD player with a USB (Universal Serial Bus) port. Or a home theater that supports USB plug-in.
  • Television.
  • External hard disk drive.
  • USB cable size 2.0 both side to be used in connecting the external hard disk and the USB port in the DVD player.
  • Now  you can connect the DVD player with the television the normal way. Then connect the external hard disk to the USB port in the DVD player using the USB cable.
