Among the Lumia phones released in 2014 is Lumia 530. The Nokia Lumia 530 is a 3G Smartphone operating on 2G and 3G network bands using GSM and HSPA technologies. It was announced to the public on July 2014 and released on August 2014 measuring 119.7 x 62.3 x 11.7 millimeters and weighing 129 grams.

It uses micro-SIM card and has TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 480 x 854 pixels screen resolution. It supports multi-touch and runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset, 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Cortex-A7 processor, and Adreno 302 GPU. It supports microSD expandable up to 256 GB. It runs on 512 MB RAM with 4 GB internal storage.

The primary camera supports 5 megapixels with 1/4″ featuring geo-tagging. It supports 480p video recording at 30 fps. There is no secondary camera. It supports 3.5-millimeter jack featuring Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot support, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and LE/aptX after WP8 Denim update, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS support, FM radio, and microUSB 2.0.

It has built-in accelerometer sensor. The pre-installed web browser supports HTML5. Java is not supported. It runs on removable BL-5J Li-Ion 1430 mAh battery with standby time up to 528 hours and talk time up to 13 hours 20 minutes on 2G and 10 hours on 3G. It is available in white, dark grey, bright orange, and bright green colors.
