When I am running a program, I am getting an error saying Run-time error ‘339.’
Component ‘VSVIEW6.OCX’ or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid. How can I solve this?
This may occur on Windows XP sometimes when the controls, i.e., dll’s or ocx’s do not register because the setup was not run as administrator.
Follow one of the ways below.
1. You have to boot your computer in safe mode and perform a clean boot from safe mode and check if this works. Reset your computer to normal mode after the troubleshooting.
2. Scan your computer with Microsoft Safety Scanner.
3. Otherwise, download the file VsVIEW6.ocx to your desktop and move the file to the program directory in which it is missing or if it does not work, move it to the system directory.
