Vb6 setup exe installation error.

Hello experts,

VB 6 setup exe installation error. I got some compatibility error during the installation of VB 6 setup exe. What should I do know and will you able to guide me on the proper way of downloading and installation process so that It will go through this time? For additional information my current operating system is windows 7 starter.

Vb6 setup exe installation error.

First of all you right click on setup.exe file which is used for installation go to properties. Now go to compatibility tab. And then select “Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service pack3”. Now right click setup.exe and select run as administrator. If it gives some compatibility messages just ignore those messages and allow installation to complete. After installation right click the program and select run as administrator. Hope this will solve your problem

There are a lot of possibilities why an error occur during the installation of VB 6. You have maybe an existing VB 6 installation or any software conflicts.
