I just got a PC game that I have been waiting for a long time; Dark Souls 2. I tried to connect my PS3 controller to my pc as I am not very comfortable with keyboard controls. I have configured the controller with the DS4 tool but the pc still does not recognise the controller. Help please?

Hello Edward!

What type of operating system are you using? If it’s Windows 8, 7, Xp, we’ve got a quick fix for this.

1. If it’s Windows 8 you just need to disable Driver Signature Enforcement. This settings will prevent other devices not listed to work with this 64-bit operating system. If you have previous operating system then skip this step.

2. Unplug and re-plug your PS3 controller using USB (Universal Serial Bus) connector.

3. Install MotionJoy 0.7.1 or DS3,4. Check which will be the best software to make your controller work. In Motion joy point select “Port_#…”. After this install DS3 or 4 and configure your PS3 controller. Check if your controller will vibrate by clicking the “Test Button.”
