Hi,

I upgraded to the latest Google-earth plugin and since then the placemarks of my usual KML files do not show. I don’t see any placemarks from any KML files, even from google-earth exemples/code. I use both Firefox and Explorer. Any suggestions?

Please import a KML/KMZ file that was saved from Google Earth.

I think this is not a Google Earth plug-in error. Errors in Google Earth that are associated to faulty plug-in generate a different error totally different from this one. Though I’m not using Google Earth, lots of Google Earth users on the web are sharing different things like when using or putting placemarks in Google Earth.

When putting a placemark so it won’t disappear the next time you open it, after creating the placemark click File, Save then Save my places. In your case, if the problem really just started after upgrading to the latest plug-in, you may try reloading the page. If this doesn’t fix the problem, you may try re-installing Google Earth plug-in.

To download the installer for the plug-in, visit Google Earth Plug-in. This will directly download the Google Earth Plug-in installer. Just run the installer to fix the plug-in error.
