Updater cannot write one of the program files

Hi everyone,

I got update for payroll Tax form. For installation of update I have used Tax Form wizard. During installation error message appears. Can someone please help me to fix this? OS Windows XP professional, Norton Internet security.

The updater cannot write one of the program file. The most likely cause of this is that another instance of the program is currently running.

Please make sure that all users have exited the program and then select retry.

Updater cannot write one of the program files

Hello,

The updater cannot recognize your system operating. You have to install the Windows XP OS related internet security updater. Though it would download from Internet, it needs register to use on your system.

As your comment you don't have any question to have exited the entire program. Yes it will.

These instruction will help you; Norton Antivirus on you current program will have un install and then install the before file and go Internet to update only security alert.# there are lots of security updater to install. You will check on your system basic and keep existing on XP files. try then.
