Update iOS5 without wiping datas

I have a DJ app which I have been using in my iPhone and iPad for about 6 months now. I have saved a number of cue points, but when I updated my iOS 5 in my iPhone, it all got wiped out. Is it possible to update my iOS 5 without wiping all my saved cue points? Any advice will do. Thanks!

Update iOS5 without wiping datas

Hello there!

Did you try using iTunes after updating to ios5? Itunes should be able to restore any applications or any other lost data in your iphone after updating it to ios5. Just simply plug your device back to your computer and then open your itunes application. Open your device on the itunes and click on sync or apply.

This will start the restoration of all the data in your iphone. After this, click Transfer and that's it! If this method fails, go to the Summary tab under the device settings and click Restore. Hope this helps! Good luck to you!

Update iOS5 without wiping datas

Hi Thomas,

It would be better to upgrade to IOS 5 by plugging your Iphone directly to your PC or Mac/Macbook. By doing so, the update will be automatically done without the fear of losing all your existing files and applications. If you do your upgrade this way, the system will automatically back up your files as you perform the upgrade.
