Hi Jully ann, here some solution in your problem. For the reason that your computer may be very slow you can try to disk defragment your laptop/computer. I t also can be a reason for a presence of viruses which may slower your computer system. If you want to uninstall the old version of your Windows XP go to start menu look for control panel then Add/ remove programs then look for Windows Uninstall.

If this happens that the Windows Uninstall showed in the currently installed program you can still uninstall it. Look for Change/Remove then Uninstall windows then continue. Restart your computer when you are finished in uninstalling the windows.. Please follow the instruction so you can get a better result. Read and understand everything that will popout on your screen.

I hope that this will help you more.

To 'uninstall'/remove the other windows installations, the safest and most efficient way is to format the entire hard drive and have a fresh windows installation. This should ensure that you have a clean system free of any corruption and slow down which may have been caused by the existence of multiple operating system installations.

Should you decide to go through this process, make sure you have backed up all your files into a flash drive or a DVD disc or an external hard drive depending on how much space you actually need for your files. Make sure that you format the entire hard drive (and setup partitions again if you would like to have different partitions on your system) before installing the fresh operating system.
