Sopcast is one which I use to watch online videos, listen to online radio music.
But for the first time I attempted to watch a channel on it and it came up with an error message. I am able to view a 30 to 40 seconds and later it pops up with an error message.

I was not sure if there was anything related to my software installation. I am trying to view it on my Windows XP SP3 machine.
Has anyone come across this error message? I am surprised why I am not able to view only my channels and able to listen to music and watch other videos.

Hey,
This is a very strange error with sopcast .the cause for this error cannot be predicted because of less information. May be your region is not supporting the live free peer to peer channels due to sever of connection restrictions. Sometimes antivirus software tries to restrict peer to peer connection due to unsafe behaviors.
Try to disable or reduce the high network security features if you have any antivirus software installed. Otherwise update the sopcast to the latest version and see what happens as older versions had some issues with compatibility issues with Operating systems and firewalls. Ensure that your DSL Broadband connection is not limited or restricted.

Here I am to explain to you what cause you this problem.
The major cause of this problem might be about your webepg importer. In order to solve this, you should try to turn off the plugin available. Check if your channel return to normal.
If not, then you might try this method. Firstly, you need to reproduce your channel by turning on your pc. Then, open media portal. After that, visit epg for a while. Finally, choose your channel and restart your channel via task manager.
Otherwise, you need to entering the System Specs. Then, you should the connection of the MySQL database. There might be a problem out there.
