Unable To Find The Split Screen Option

After the latest update, Android Pie, I am not able to find the option to split the screen. The issue here is, I am not able to use two apps at a time because of this. The problem has started with the latest Android update and was working fine in the previous android version.

Unable To Find The Split Screen Option

The question is quite genuine as the navigation system with the new Android Pie has changed. There are two methods for navigation on the screen. If you are using the gesture navigation, then you can slide up to get the Overview or open the drawer. If you are not using the gesture, the simple method than you can use is pressing the overview key. Once you are on the overview screen, long press on the app icon that you wish to split. You will then see various options. Amongst these options, you will be able to see the split screen option. Click on the button and you can use two screens at a time.
