Unable to Save Sent Emails in iPhone 4

Hello everyone, 

I encountered an error with my iPhone 4 which I have not encountered with my iPhone 3GS before. Whenever I send emails from my iPhone 4, sent emails are not saved. I could not see them in the folder. But this doesn’t happen with my previous iPhone 3GS. I have tried using my MacBook Pro to send emails through IMAP and checked my sent folder on my iPhone; I saw the sent mails there. But why is it that when I send mails directly from my iPhone, it would not save the mails. 

Please send me suggestions.

Unable to Save Sent Emails in iPhone 4

Hi, i have understood the actual problem that you are facing while sending emails directly from your iPhone 4. Your iPhone 4 is having issues with configurations while setting your email account. Here is a complete guide with pictures to do some settings to resolve your issue.

Go to the Mail section on your iPhone and open Mail Setting and go to the Advanced section.

Here you will see Mailbox Behavior. You should see Three options, "Draft Mailbox", "Sent Mailbox" and "Deleted Mailbox".

Go to Sent Mailbox and there select "Sent". So you are done.

Now try sending your email and you will see that Sent mail is synced with your mail server.
