Hey Everyone,

I am unable to save figures in vector format (pdf, eps).

When I try to execute save I get this message onscreen:

  1. Error Saving figure
  2. Error usingèhgexport
  3. Error using èprint
  4. Error usingègraphicsprivateghostscript
  5. Problem calling GhostScript.
  6. System Error Saving Figure  returned error

                                                OK

I am not sure what the problem is exactly but am using version 2007a.

Thanks in advance.

Seriously though, you could probably pick up version 8 or 9, especially as an OEM version, for a pretty low price and would be a big step forwards. I still routinely use 8 and 9 and they work fine under XP.

Very rarely need any of the extras offered by 12 or 13.
You might also have small issue with fonts if you have been using the Corel special name fonts or WFN fonts which are no longer used. If you have used only ttf fonts you should be okay, but make sure you keep the original font files or CD (floppies?!) in case of need when opening an old drawing.

Finally, one last thought – you could in case of need do a dual Windows installation on your computer with Windows 98 available and Corel Draw 3 installed in that for use in case of incompatibilities of old files with the new system. If you'll only be creating new images then this should be unnecessary of course.
