Unable to run ArchiCAD on Windows 7

I am constantly receiving an error message when starting my ArchiCAD 12 with Windows 7.  It says “ArchiCAD cannot run on this computer.”  The problem might be QuickTime is outdated. But I have the latest version installed already. Can anyone enlighten me and share your thoughts about my dilemma? Thank you.

Sorry, ArchiCAD cannot run on this computer.

Unable to run ArchiCAD on Windows 7

There might be a possibility that the quick time is really out of date and that you need to update it. But follow the steps below and it will surely help you tackle down the problem.

In the start type turn windows feature on or off and click on the search result.

In the new window, there will be a lot of options with Checkboxes. go down till you find the Windows Gadget Platform. If it is unchecked then check it and if it is check uncheck it,restart the computer, go through the same process and this time check it again and leave it like that. Click ok and Restart your computer.

Update the Directx of your computer too as it is also needed by Quick time.
