I am trying to install the program Avid studio and I have been through more than half way of the installation process. Most of the program features have already been installed. I arrived at a certain step that when I clicked the next button, an error message appeared saying that there is an error reading a certain file called Arpeggios from the program files. It just gave me two options to retry or to cancel. Which one should I choose?

I think there is a problem with your DVD drive. Most of the cases I know when they encountered this error, the error is on the DVD drive. Check your computer drives, if you have multiple DVD drives, install the software using the other drive. But if you get still the same error, you must contact or you need to contact customer support for you to know other solution for your problem. I tried only to fixed this kind of problem from using other drives in a multiple hard drives, other than that contact customer support, I know they can help you regarding to this problem.

You should click retry. Actually the application is just trying to verify that indeed the location that is indicated in the directory path in the error message is where you have placed the application so that all other file related to it will be placed there. In case you need to change the location where the application, you will need to click on cancel and start over the installation process afresh. But make sure that the location of the file is still in the program files because if you put it outside then it is definitely not going to work. You will just need to create a folder in the program files.
