Unable to play Ragnarok Online

Hi everyone!

Ragnarok Online is installed on my pc  with no issues. But  when I log on to a private server, I cannot connect. 

I manually checked the server and saw that it's online. Could the problem be with my firewall?

Unable to play Ragnarok Online

First, If Ragnarok was previously working on your computer, then it should not be an issue with the firewall.
Second, You need to use Ragnarok patches to start the online game, not Valkyrie or Renewal.If pre VIP installer was used to install you need to patch using renewal shortcut, then patch with ragnarok and use Ragnarok to play the game.
Third, This might also be caused by logmein Hamachi orr a VPN installed on your PC

Hi,

I Love Ragnarok  there are some causes that make the game not work Sometimes the server of the game itself is down or

undermaintaince the 2nd thing your internet connection is unstable check if the inter provider is going good 3rd Ragnarok is constant in updating the game, sometimes you need to check the version of the latest game update.

Unable to play Ragnarok Online

If you play Ragnarok Online and you want to connect to a private server instead of the home server or the default server, check that private server for instructions on how to connect. What I know about private servers, they are the kind of servers that users have to pay before they can connect and play.

It’s hard to find a private server that is free to connect and play due to the fact that who’s going to pay for the server’s expenses and maintenance. Just learn how to connect to the private server and you should be playing in no time. If the private server requires an updated client, download the latest Ragnarok Online client and install to update.

The latest Ragnarok Online client supports Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. It requires 400 MHz Intel Pentium 2 or faster processor, 128 MB RAM, 1.7 GB free space, 640 x 480 minimum screen resolution, Microsoft DirectX 8.1-compatible video card with 16 MB video RAM, sound card, and internet connection.

They also recommend that you have Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 x86 installed but unfortunately, this version is no longer being provided as download by Microsoft. Instead, download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable x86.
