Unable to move Sent Messages to another folder

I was trying to move my sent messages from my email into another folder on my Notes Desktop Client. But it won’t allow me to do that. However, I can add a duplicate message on the new folder. How can I move the message and not just duplicate them?

Hi Andremolina,

Here are the options that could help you transferring your sent messages to any folder:

1. Open the Microsoft Outlook and click TOOLS and open the OPTIONS and select.

 

EMAIL OPTIONS:

2. From the dialog box unchecked the option " save copies in sent items folders and then hit ok and exit.

3. Made a rule to put a check mark to any messages after sending. Change the rule that you will copy sent messages to a specific person or list them into folder that you assign.

Unable to move Sent Messages to another folder

Hello Andremolina,

This solution applies to MS Exchanger server. The error occurs because the working folder for email conversion was located on a slow or busy drive. To resolve the error:

1. Start registry editor. This is done by clicking the start menu, then search for run and click on it to open the command prompt window.
2. In the command prompt window, type rededit to start the registry editor.
3. Locate by typing in the editor and click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetServicesMSExchangeISParametersSystemWorking Directory
4. Double click on Folder_Path located on right side pane
5. Type the path of a folder on a faster drive in the String Editor and click ok.
6. Close the registry editor
