I am unable to login to the computer. It gets stuck at the login screen. How can I resolve the issue? Do I have to replace any components in my computer? Please help me.

You mean when you are trying to log onto the computer it just freezes or when you try to log on it refuses telling you that there is a problem with either the username or password? For the former, you will need to shut down the computer and then let it stay like that for a while and then turn it back on. The computer may be freezing because it has been overworked, and therefore shutting it down will close the processes that are taking a lot of memory space and leave the computer to 'rest', so that when you turn it back on there will be a lot of free memory that will make the computer execute normally. But if the problem is due to wrong username or password:

  • You will need to make sure that you have turned CAPS LOCK off.
  • If you have numbers in the password make sure NUM LOCK is ON.
  • And also make sure that you are not typing the username and password wrongly.

It would help if you provided more details regarding the problem or perhaps some screen shots and details of error codes if there are any. That said, just make sure you type in your username and password correctly. Make sure your CAPS LOCK key is not set to make sure lower case and upper case letters are typed in right. If the problem actually happens AFTER you login, like you put in the username and password but the computer is stock at logging in, then your user account may be corrupted and you may need to have your computer administrator create another user account for you.
