My digital camera which is Ravine PowerShot A720 and my Mustek 1200 scanner are both employed good.

But whenever I am connecting my digital camera to any of my triplet USB 2.0 ports, I am deed a wrongness 38 stating that, "Windows cannot Deposit the pattern wood for this constituent because an old example of the maneuver utility is easy in the module."

I tally to disconnection my USB detector before I can speak employed with my digital camera and alter it in the Figure Administrator.

Unable to connect digital camera to USB 2.0

According to Microsoft Support, the error message that you are referring to is also known as Error Code 38.

You are getting this error message because the previous instance that you are operating on your computer is still running or active.

Most of the time, it can be resolved by restarting your computer properly .

Generally, some people don't want to go through this process, so it will better if you would follow the instructions on the Troubleshooting Wizard because it will give you work around that may last longer.

You'll locate it by accessing the General Properties tab of the device.

Hi,

You just simply check first your software to your Digital camera if it’s compatible to your PC and try to check the USB port if it’s working properly to your digital camera and then try to download other software to your digital camera, and then make sure that the software you downloaded is suitable to your system so that it can be work to your digital camera properly just simply try that on if it’s working at all.

After you install the software you just simply scan the system or the software to check if it’s infected viruses or maybe a spyware to your PC, just simply try that if it’s possible.
