Unable to connect Bluetooth via Sony SmartWatch 2

Hello everyone,

Today I got my new Sony Smart Watch 2 SW2 Genuine Bluetooth. I am very much excited as I was waiting for a long time. Everything is pretty good.

But when I tried to connect smart watch to my Acer smartphone it is not getting connected at all. It is giving some pin error. Sometimes it's getting stuck and giving the error saying you need to install some Sony related application. I think it is not related to Bluetooth problem. I tried with some other Xperia cell it worked properly.

What is going wrong with my smartphone? Hope someone suggest me to fix this issue. Thanks again and warm regards.

Unable to connect Bluetooth via Sony SmartWatch 2

Hello Roy,

To pair Sony Smart Watch to your android phone you need to download app from play store.Download "Smart Connect" in case you android version is higher than gingerbread, otherwise download "liveware manager". Make sure that your both devices are charged before you try to connect.

The majority of smartwatches have to be connected to a Smartphone to function because the watch itself cannot perform all of its functions on board. If you have a Sony smartwatch, you need to pair it with an Android device like Smartphone or tablet and most Sony smartwatches are compatible with Android operating system.

To pair and connect a Sony smartwatch with an Android, make sure both devices are turned on. Next, on your Android Smartphone or tablet, turn on Bluetooth. Once Bluetooth is activated, under “AVAILABLE DEVICES” section, tap to select the Sony smartwatch to pair it with your phone.

Once both devices are paired, on your Smartphone, open the Google Play store app and search for the Smart Connect app and install it.
